Networking Resource - Art Licensing Forums

Logging into internet forums are free and a good way to network with others interested in art licensing. Listed below are three forums that you can join. Members have a variety of licensing experiences and are willing to share their expertise. Once you are a member you can look at past posts, share licensing experiences, ask your burning questions, or solicit advice. And no question is considered dumb. However, some questions have been asked time and time again so it might be wise to search the forum archives before posting your questions since they may have already been answered.

Members are designers, artists, illustrators, manufacturers, lawyers, agents, art directors, and more. Note: You need to join yahoo.com before joining this forum.

2. Art of Licensing linkedin forum (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=149470&goback=%2Egdr_1251265798803_1) is moderated by Cherish Flieder and has over 1000 members. Note: You need to join linkedin.com before joining this forum.

3. Greeting Card, Stationery & Gift Industry Gurus forum (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?mostPopular=&gid=950007) is moderated by Andy Meehan and has over 1000 members.  Note: You need to join linkedin.com before joining this forum.

Note:  Another art licensing forum "The Art Licensing Forum" was moderated by Tara Reed but was discontinued on 7/16/10.
